Kill your own plant species x to get seed?

I finally got one, what to do to farm more?

In the swamp are special plants they can give you 9 seeds each plant

Go to swamp biome and use the sickle on species x plants? Or any herbivore Dino which collects berries. We're throwing them away because you get hundreds when farming in swamp with mammoth/ankylo.

Ankylos are good swimmers and they can swim in most part of swamp. Just make sure they don't drown (happened to me :))

take a bronto to the swamp and you never have to harvest them again ;)

And you will have a nice little trail for a bit.

I use a Trike in the swamp and get tons of berries, plant x seeds, and (not so) rare flowers.

Take a high level Trike/Stego/Berry Gatherer to the swamp. Harvest 1-2 Plant X with that and you will have so many seeds you won't know what to do with them (got over 100 in a trip).

Our base is IN the swamp. Still takes some minutes to get it out of the base into the swamp. Compared to Brontos Ankylos are sprinters!
