How to disable cheat ghost?

Had to get a few of my argies out that dissapeared underneath the map (don't log out with Argies on the blue center platform or they'll dissapear underneath and get stuck). Anyway, using cheat walk to try to deactivate cheat ghost just causes me to suddenly drop through the map. I have to keep using ghost to save myself. I've read the wiki, using cheat walk is suppose to disable ghost but it's not happening. Any ideas?

using cheat ghost while mounted seems a little buggy. I've had that issue as well, it's as if while mounted the clip becomes more permanent and the walk command doesn't seem to remove it.

Make sure you are fully above the ground before turning off the ghost, other than that walk out to the ocean and see if falling into deep water helps

There is a bug where mounting a dino while ghosting will not allow you to turn off ghost until death. I recommend placing your inventory into a chest, then allow yourself to fall all the way down the map until you are instantly killed and respawn at bed.

@troynx01, it does not matter really. That is a known bug that the Dev's are aware of. This has happened to me on several occasions where I was in ghost mode trying to clean up someones building or fixing something stuck in the environment. Once I was ready to go back to walk mode I would make sure I was well above ground, issue the command and then promptly fall back through the World. Sometimes the only way I could recover was from an actual death so I'd stay in ghost mode, put all my stuff on my Arg then go back to walk to kill myself off. After I died it seems that I was fixed and back into walk mode. This has not happened to me recently so I had thought that maybe they had fixed it but if the OP is having that issue now then I guess it is still a bug.

This! The only way to deactivate it, is to die or fast travel from bed to bed. I had the noclip bug several time by crashing the game while in ghost mode.

Ark devs!!! please fix this bug. Im getting sick of this. As a server admin I frequently use cheat ghost to recover dinos that are stuck. When I teleport to a player there is no way for me to store my items easily. Either, make a command that disables ghost or fix it that when you do cheat walk it actually works. Thanks!

Instead of using walk, use fly, and 'fly' into a patch of above ground water. That always works for me.

Its because you were mounted when you used it then dismounted before turning it off. I've had that happen before myself. The way I got around it was to restart the server so that it would wipe out any active cheats and then kill myself so that I could respawn.

If you get on amount and i Bugs knock your self out no need to kill.

Ghosting yourself because the game is buggy as ♥♥♥♥, and the ghosting is buggy as ♥♥♥♥ too.

Make sure you stay on your dino if you 'ghost' on it. Don't get off until you 'walk'.
