I don't find it useless at all, many times I've been away from my base and needed a bunch of fiber and get very quickly cause of it.

I agree it is not useless, its a quick way of getting lots of fiber (as long as you have plenty of berry/fiber plants near by)

I am going too back the underdog in the thread, so i agree with sistematic since you get berries with the fiber by hand which is better because it kills too birds with one stone, thus being a waste of engram points.

Thats the extent of my argument lmao

I had wondered this myself if im honest, but i seem too be always gathering berries anyway, for narcotics, or feeding animals, dyes, etc...

So didn't bother with it in the end!!

Obviously you werent here before the sickle or giganto.....Fiber was one of the hardest things to get in large quantities. I'll take the sickle over having the spam "E" all over the damn place anyday. Berries are easily farmed, fiber.....not so much.

Gathering berries by hand is the stupiest way to gather berries.

Use Ankylo/Mammooth for berries.
Use Giganto for fibre, if you don't have one sickle is your friend.

Alright, so he is saying that if it DOES harvest berries as well, then it is useless. In this case, OP, it is very useful, since it exclusively collects fiber.

god i love the sickle. being a sufferer of RSI spamming any button is a PITA so being able to just hold down a mouse button n move around is way better. besides if i want berries i just take betty my bronto for a walk
