Pteranodon obsession of flying around the owner
I have come across this trouble many times and I am sure you guys have experienced the same. You dismount from your pteranodon either by accident (you hit water, oh no!) or because you want to and after a certain amount of time you want the pteranodon to come to you so you can mount it again. You call the pteranodon for it to follow you but instead of coming and staying next to you so you can easily mount it, it starts flying in circles around your head at the speed of light so there is no way you can mount it.

Well, that situation can be not only annoying but put you in a risky situation, specially if there is some hazard that you are trying to escape from as soon as possible, but the pteranodon decides to play this game on you that will easily get either you, your pteranodon or both killed.

A bit of a similar situation happens with the Argentavis, but since the pteranodon speed is usually much higher, it is even worse with those. If you then ask it to stop following so that it will land, who knows how many Km away from you it will land so it is not really a solution.

Suggestion: Could we correct this obsessive behaviour of our flying pets and make it somehow easier for us to mount them when needed? I do not think it makes any sense for them to fly around like they do now.

Again, thank you developers for doing such an amazing job with this game and for taking our complaints into account.

+1 All flyers need to be put n Zanix asap.

Agreed. Maybe a very local whistle for the Pteranodon to scoop us up? Or at least hover so we can "ride".

It would be pretty bad ass to be falling from the sky and have our birds swoop us up before we hit the ground.

It's be design and I love it.

They are coming by for a pass so you can look up hit E and mount them on the run.

Saved my behind many times, I usually have my flying mounts on passive and not following, but it something jumps me while I'm dismounted, hit J and start running, after a few seconds I just look up hit E and I'm flying away.

^Not that easy. I don't know how many times I've pressed E on any dino in movement without it registering. Whether it be a pteranadon circling around or something like a trike going on a rampage. This pteranadon circling thing needs to be fixed, or at least add a key where it lets you get on without having to target it, as long as you're in close vicinity. Also, a key to target on the ground where to land would be nice... edIt: for an unridden ptera to land
