Really no point when you can just get a raptor to go fast and attack at the same time. The only point of it is the mate boost. And breeding when it comes out for mammals

It's like asking if taming a female saber or doed is any good. The male deer does look cooler but the female deer will have it's use when they do the second pass of breeding implementation I believe (when they include mammal breeding).

unless you plan to kibble tame most dinosaurs are pointless to tame.

Yea but most dinos have a use and so far apart from being used for breeding i dont really see any other purpose for it just wondered if i was missing something

females are faster and more "flexable" to work with then males

Your male deers will have company in their pen. It gets boring if he is surrounded by males you know.

They really do get stupid fast when specced for speed, but once you have a kibble tamed Pteranodon, you don't really need it.

If you want a means of fast transportation on the ground it has 25% more speed than a male aswell as it can mate boots your males giving them more defence and more attack power. Up a little bit off health to survive miss jumps (they don't take fall dmg the best) and speed from there on... Their stamina is already very high but can't hurt to up later on if you want.

I tamed a level 84 female deer the other day. It had 1k stamina and 130% movement speed. It sucks that it can't attack, but nothing can outrun me on the ground and even when sprinting across the island I have not come close to running out of stamina. They're great if you want a pure running mount for scouting or such.
