Quetzal dino grab

me and my freind, really exited to have successfully tamed the rare and hard to tame quetz, and we decided to use it for lifting. Our idea was to carry dinos otherwise unliftable into a pen and easily tame them. when i tried to grab a deer, i couldnt manage to grab it. then i tried a dire wolf, then a mammoth, then an anky, with no luck. i could pick up our dinos, but not wild dinos. is this a glitch, server setting, or is quetz not meant to be able to pick up wild dinos?

Is the server PvE? I think that picking up dinos & people is disabled on them.

its a private server. only me and my freind.

PvE servers require a specific got to permit untamed animal lifting. Merely permitting lifting in PvE just permits friendly lifting. I do not know the code.

turn pvp on to pick up wild dinos , if you guys are in a tribe pvp setting wont effect you.
