Respawn timer issue?

I have posted this as a bug but to be honest i'm not sure its a game bug? i'm hoping more people will see it in the main section and someone might be able to help!

I am admining a very busy (70 slot often at max capacity) server which is provided by a big name uk Youtuber and we are having a strange issue with respawn timers.
Yesterday morning we shut down the server briefly (saved game via rcon before stopping the server in the hosts control panel) in order to add some admin steam id's to the allowed cheaters list.
Upon restart the server would not load the save game- The host saves backups each 4 hrs as well as the standard 15 minute autosaves so we rolled back to the previous save and still couldn't get the server going.

In the end we had to roll back 48 hours to find a save that would work and load up properly.

Obviously players were very upset at the rollback but these things happen sometimes.

However- Some players upon logging in found their character had died (not a surprise as they could have been anywhere on the map at restart) and not only were they dead but they were unable to respawn for varying lengths of time- some had to wait tens of minutes, some hours, some 23 hrs and one reported his timer saying he could not respawn for 68 hours.

Some players were fine but have died since the rollback and have then encountered the respawn timer problem.

I have searched the forum and found only one post- the OP reinstalled his server to fix it but with the amount of players we have a full wipe and reinstall is really really not the way we want to go.

The last off server backup we have is a month old (this will be being rectified - previous admin were inactive)

Last night we closed the server down and performed the update as usual with no ill effects but no change to the problem either.

I am guessing perhaps it is something to do with the PVP timer- maybe players who died alot over the 48hrs we rolled back have had their deaths stacked and doubled?

Anyone have any ideas at all?

idk man, that's a crazy glitch. Can you disable the respawn timers entirely?

i am having the same issue except my respawn is like 100+ days

I have 135 day timer at the moment and won't let me create a new survivor either...

One time happend to me. My friend had 14 days respawn timers.

Try delete your local profile save on disk.

file : PlayerLocalData.arkprofile

its here : Program Files (x86)\Steam\ARK Survival Evolved\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\LocalProfiles

Log back to server.

Then you must be abble spawn like fresh new player. Then admin can give you back stuff, dinos, tribe, structures and level too.

I tried to delete the PlayerLocalData.arkprofile But still 110 days to respawn...
