Exp while mounted.

Does anyone know how much EXP you're supposed to get while riding a dino and having it kill something?
I've always thought it was half of what the dino gets, but recently, I've been getting DOUBLE what my pteredon gets. I don't know if this is a bug or what, just trying to figure out what's going on.

Mounted dino gets half of what you get, including tribe shared experience.

Only from kills while riding. Crafting does nothing. Also, dinos don't give shared XP, which sucks. Got a nice raptor that just eats the XP from every kill the party goes out on.

I'm really confused now. My friend has an argentavis, and he's getting half of the exp that it gets. It's creating a rather large gap in our levels.

Unless they changed it with the last couple of patches. Shared experience you get from crafting goes straight to the mounted dino. Regular experience from crafting (as in you crafted it) does not go to the dino you mount.
