How to delete my single player map only?

So I want to start fresh on a new map with my select dinos and my uploaded survivor (I have uploaded them all to the obelisk!

How do you do this please?

I don't want to start a new character with no levels and no dinos! Only want a fresh map with none of the crap I have on my current one!

I'm not 100% but i think all you need to do is delete your TheIsland.ark file, but not sure if dinos are connected to that or not. I don't think you needed to bother uploading your survivor and dinos though.

I just uploaded my dinos and survivor to be safe and get a fresh map without the low level dinos I have tamed from my low level days at the moment but thanks will try it! As I want to get fresh all high level dinos!

For those interested deleting you TheIsland.ark file totally wipes the map you have to respawn a new character screen then you can select your downloaded character off that screen! You can also then find any select dinos you may have uploaded in the obelisk! Woot fresh start with my level 82 character :) Just wanted to let you all know :)

Edit dont do this when you die you dont keep your downloaded character you just totally loose your downloaded character at least if you fall through teh world like I did you do! I am lucky I backed up my save to reload it and will just kill all dinos and destroy all structures I dont want so I can start again!

Also dont do this it wreaks the backup too! I have totally lost my character hopefully not my dinos which hopefully I can reupload again

i don't remember which file's it is but some of the .ark files are structures saved around the island ive deleted just those files and saved all my dino's and character. So it is possible.
