So about dieseases...
For those who do not know, coming soon to ARK is the ability to get dieseaes. I am speculating what kinds of dieseaes will come to ARK. We already know Scurvy will be one of them. But what other kinds could we get?

Ideas:

Malaria (Contracted from getting bit by too many bugs)
Heatstroke (If you are too hot for too long, you will start hallucinating and be losing water like there is no tomorrow)
Hypothermia (If you are too cold for too long)
Samonella (If you eat raw or rotten food, there is a likely chance of this happining)
Typhoid (If you eat ♥♥♥♥....you ♥♥♥♥-head)
Flu (If you go near a "sick animal...which would not be a bad idea...Animals can get diesases and are unable to be consumed safely...even if cooked. Just make those ones VERY Rare)

But I like all the ideas! Would need some real balancing.

Maybe a disease that causes extreme emptying of the bowels.

Typhoid fever can only be caught via feces/urine of someone who already is infected with it.

In most cases, people get the infection while visiting relatives in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. However, you're also at risk of developing the infection if you visit Asia, Africa and South America.

Scurvy? I hope people realize scurvy is caused by a LONG term deficiency of vitamin C. We are talking a lot longer than a couple weeks... If you get little to no vitamin C we are probably talking months. If you get tiny amounts of vitamin C, but still not enough from your diet, we are talking years if ever before you develop scurvy, you'd probably just get some other deficiency related problems.

It'll be interesting to see how they tackle that one...

not neccesarily, a lot of animals in the game are not strictly prehistoric, and humans have had diseases for as long as humans have been on the planet. sure, we can probably rule out syphilus until the devs add human breeding to the game, but HIV? could get it from bad transfusions from mistreated prisoners.

Ebola, when you eat bat meat.

Go around, poop in people's bases. They use it for fertilizer, infect their plants, everyone dies.

What makes you think this game treats anything related to time as real time?

And i dont get how the diseases significantly harm one if you can simply respawn in bed, unless that disease would persist despite one having died , which would be quite annoying, little inmersive, and counterintuitive...
