Have you found a way to move stuck rafts yet?

Have a raft stuck again that floated out of the water up onto the beach.

Wondering if anyone has found a console command that works.

I've in the past simply driven it out, or fixed it by relogging.

i find when its stuck I keep getting on and off till it does the move thing when you let go of the steering. then grab it and it jumps back to where its stuck - once you get that behaviour - let go of steering and let the raft float or skip down the shore and don't grab the steering - Log off and restart game - raft is free.


I got stuck in the swamp a least 10 times in last week and this worked every time

just play with it till you get the above behaviour and your almost there

I'm not sure it's always recoverable. I have one that's embedded into a couple of large unmine-able rocks. I've worked on it for quite some time and finally gave up. It's not budging. I did find out that if it is wedged against a rock or tree or some such that that cn be harvested, it can often jettison the raft for quite a distance when you do.

My yacht club lost two expensive yachts to this bug. I have noticed that boats drift north east, which can lead to them getting stuck quite often. We had to build a wall to block the boats from resting against the unminable boulders. There are 2 rafts also stuck under our yacht. We destroyed one, but will leave the other as a perminently docked yacht. It was far too expensive to destroy.

I tried all suggestions to get the raft loose but nothing worked. Took everything off, destroyed add ons, destroyed raft.

I am going to do the wall suggestion this time. Hopefully the raft will be blocked from leaving the water to go up on the beach without getting stuck on the wall.

One thing that helped me get one free once was to harvest EVERYTHING in the area. And I mean pretty damn far out too. I think the game decided it was stuck on a cluster of rock that was quite a ways away from it.

This actually works, Let the thing bug out and if you can time it properly and let go of the steering it actually dislodges. Just tried it and it worked.. saved me tons of time. Thanks dude.

The raft is apparently a platform saddle on an invisible "dino" floating on the surface. When you grab the tiller you are apparently mounting the "saddle". Could you grab the tiller and use the ghost or fly commands? Never tried it, and not going to restart the game to try now... maybe the next time I stick a raft. Worth a try......

Edit: Or grab the tiller and use the teleport command.

Usually when its stuck you can move it with keys, stop using the mouse, use keys instead as arrows + zqsd (wasd) and it should move
