Mini games

Thus far in Ark the only close to "mini games" that exist is the process of tameing.

Part of what makes ark great is the down time between the grinds with your tribe mates or meeting new people.

Now Arks focus obviously needs to be on performance, optimization, etc... But I would truly enjoy the addition of various "Minigames" into the world of Ark Survival Evolved.

It could be as simple as adding a sub-game version of Poker to play with, say, pearls as currency (or currency is open and selectable by party, could be any material so long as all members of the party agree) OR up to things as creative and crazy as Trike soccer teams with an invincible dodo as the ball. :D

If you guys could up with some Minigames to introduce to ark what would they be?

Shoulder monkey basketball.

Try and throw a monkey off your shoulder into a 1×1 box on a pillar with no roof

Awesome... Lol

In my head it's almost closer to golf frisbee - you could throw the monkey off a raised play form or hill and bellow could be a few different sized, different distances for the monkey to maby land.

In each of the "pens" is a small chest with the loot prize u win of the monkey makes it in.


Mod for this would need to be a "monkey despencer" with infinite Insta tamed monkeys that only have a limited timer life span

The ability to make dinos go to a certain spot. This would be a minigame because dodo races :p

Hahahahaha ... That's all we need 4 everything.

But really u did inspire me for another idea...

Picture a mini game of "wack-a-mole" from when u were a kid. Now replace these with penguins and use the club.

Could be a whole cut to a wack-a-mole machine with a snow biome skin hahahaha

Right! The first time I hit a dodo and it went flying that's all I could think off.

Would be amazing to have an obelisk to transport you to a variety of mini game arena locations.

Imagine a full size (probably larger) soccer field. Tribe on tribe - 5 vs 5 - ，bring your best trikes.

The tribes would place their bets and then they could create their own version of soccer. Obviously the Gigantopithecus would be the refs and be in a black and white skin with a whistle

XD if you could bet on these then their would be a point to tame 120 dodos & pump stam hahaha

Imagine betting on dodo races.

Lol or even a "dog fighting" mini game but for your Dino's - they spawn back to life after , but to test who has the superior Dino you could have them go 1 on 1 by them selfs or mounted at each other. Place bets and see who's tribe has a better saber :P... Or dodo ... I like the idea of dodo cage fights

Only place I could see this adding value is to loot drops. Would make them even more sketchy to get after unmounting your Dino and more satisfying to attain (so long as they fix every damn drop giving me compass blueprints)

Dodge shot, like dodge ball but firing a hook shot from xbow. U have to actually drag your target to ur prison, they are not allowe to fire there xbow but their team can drag them out of prison.
