A way to extract materials out of tamed creatures?

as the title says..
some creatures on ARK are basically useless to tame, but if you kill them out in the wild, u can harvest useful materials from them, but why is it limited to that? why cant it be less brutal?

like if you have some penguins, you can peacefully and naturally extract organic polymer from them "with the right tools/conditions/rules and limitations" and if u have some deers, you can extract pelt from them, and so on..

Can't find the link since it's buried (maybe someone who knows where to look will come along) but they released the dossier for the whale creature. Can't tame it, but you can harvest prime meat without killing it.

I hope that in the future that Anglers will be able to slowly accumulate Angler Gel in their inventory. Because going down to the bottom of the ocean with a saber is rather difficult (Yet very rewarding)

well that could work for meat, yea, but wild.. and moreover there are tamable creatures like the deer and so, that are currently useless to tame, so it would be nice to add a use for them, whether to carry carts, or that we can harvest mats from the tamed ones, without killing them, what ever the mats are.

but anyway i sure hope someone could provide the link.

Breeding creatures like the Phiomia, Kairuku, and Anglerfish in order to be harvested for resources should be a viable strategy, an appears to be an intended purpose these particular creatures.
