Favorite food of Baby Doedicurus

Hi folks :) I'm currently feeding my Baby Doe (close to 7% done.. ^^) and I always thought they'd prefer Mejoberries. Nonetheless I've tested a bit and my little one always chosed Amarberries over everything else. Should it be like that? Or does it prefer Amarberries, but Mejoberries have some "special" effect to the maturing process?

They will not eat their favorite berry if you have any other berry in their inventory or trough. They will always save their favorite until all other food is gone.

Also, a berry is a berry when it comes to raising a baby berry eater. No special effects from one or the other.

remember every 2mins a baby doe eats 10 berries

Mejo berries offer twice as much food point iirc so that you'd have to feed less mejo than standard berry to complete it. I find I use mejo when it isto about 20-30min feeding buffers you get a longer buffer. When it is minutes old it'll not hold much and eat it in seconds anyway so it doesnt' matter what berry at that point.
