Stego or trike for berry farming?

Bronto is the best, but between these 2 its stego.

Bout the same I prefer a trike personally. I got 3 infront of my base.

Stego is slower but gathers a lot of berries with a tail swipe, the Trike is faster speedwise but it's gather is slower (not that much) buuut is an easy and fast tame AND the Bronto is the best but a pain to tame.

Trike first, since that will be a more useful overall tame. Then a Stego later, with the trike along for protection..

I prefer the trike, the aoe is better for me than the stego's swipe. Easier to walk into an area, aoe it and keep moving.

Plus I hate the stegos, comes from aggro issues early on in my game plays ...

I may get ostracized here, but the mammoth is the ♥♥♥♥. The stamina never runs out. But to answer your actual question, Stego.

^ seriously... Just get a mammoth - if u take him to a swamp and hit the "marsh" like plants with red heads you get on a X1 gather official server 80-120 of every berry type per swing - no exaggeration if u just go out for 15 mins you can get 2000+ narco berries and an ass load of wood - ok thatch passive gain , but I would never waste my time with a trike or Stego and only collect berries

Mammoth or bronto.

Everything else is just not worth it.

You can berry tame a level 4 bronto in 2.5 hours without breaking a sweat. Even at level 4 they are more than sufficient at thatch and berries.

Also keep in mind if u have a quez than there is 0 question in an more efficient tame - use a mammy to gather ur 1000's of narco + stim in 15 mins, take to a swamp to get massive amounts of rare flowers, species X seeds & rate mushrooms, BUT get another tribe member to carry u on a Quez - and go swinging at trees like this - now the weight is based off the quez (should be now at least 2000 lbs with a mid game quez) and wood / thatch will never be a problem in less than 20 mins -

Mammoth saddle - 40
Bronto saddle - 55

Stego gathers faster than a trike. Just use whistle to walk it from bush to bush. Slow as hell when riding.

Your level doesn't matter lol - just ask on global chat for someone to craft u the saddle - if u trade them the mats at the very least u shouldn't have an issue but u can always offer to trade them a % of ur first batch of narcotics - people tend to help each other if ur not a whinny 12 year old on global

assuming that they are on a mp server..

doesn't work so well if you are playing single player on the xbox one....

I prefer the trike. I know it may gather slower etc etc but its my prefered dino and it still gathers sufficient amounts. Just my opinion.
