How to level A Beezlebufo??
So the title pretty much says it all. How should one train the Beezle? I'm basically using it as a Cementing Paste Harvester and that's about it. It is a prefect tame and seems to be quite good without any levels. I kinda wonder if investing in Melee damage would affect how much I harvest or not. But short of that I don't know what I would put my points into. So how should I level it and why?

Load up on HP and some melee damage.

Melee damage is not seeming to effect the gather rates much after your over 200%. Though I just hit 300% and hoping for some more 12x cp bites.

If anyone know the answer the questions above please enlighten us.

I play SP, but never have to level up HP or Melee damage on my frog. I focus on pure Weight, until I can comfortably use it without overburdening it, then focus a little on speed. After it's in a comfortable spot, I'll start to put a few points into HP and Stamina since those dragonfly swarms can deplete it pretty good.
I added some melee damage on mine not to take out bugs faster, but to take out the dangerous things near bugs, like all the crocs and snakes.

why bother?

I'd recommend HP speed and weight as dmg won't increase gather at all. You don't want to oneshot the bugs, because the other ones won't react and aggro at you then, which would make it much easier. If you only do some damage they will all come flying from everywhere (sometimes 25-30 bugs) making it easy CP.

I had a 120 wonderfrog for a while before the dino nerf happened. She was pushing 5k health, 800% damage, and around 300 carry weight. While the damage wasn't increasing the amount of CP I harvested, she was able to take out alphas by hopping around some. The reason I quoted Brownie though is you forgot the bugs love corpses. One corpse lying around will attract any bugs within range. Kill bugs quick, but wait to harvest the bodies for a minute or so. My personal record was something like 50 bugs going after the corpse of one dragonfly.

I generally avoid alphas with frogs after the patch, have you tried it tho?

Also you are right on the corpse part, altho if you can't find any dinos to kill it is very hard to make them aggro you.

I pump hp and melee damage mostly. I do get some stamina and weight depending on the frog's starting levels for that but it's usually only a few levels of points. I usually just kill something to attract dragonflies and just kill them when they swarm the corpse. My most currently trained frog is quite beastly and capable of taking on high level meat eaters in the swamp like sarcos so it's pretty safe out there in the swamp for me atm.
