Option to turn dino head follow off.
Sorry its the most annoying thing when dino's are on follow it makes you get stuck on them more than usual, and not so good on dino's with platform saddles.

No, don't remove it. It's awesome. My Plesiosaur keeps being mean and pushing me off my platforms into the sea for instance, it is hilarious. And it adds immersion that your loving dino's look at you when you walk past. If you keep getting stuck you need to plan better, position them another way.

no1 said remove it outright just an option per dino to turn it off just like u can turn off dino looting. for those wondering y mainly comes down to quetz with platforms, any1 with a quetz platform built to do tames knows when u shoot out near head are platform u spend half ur time shooting the quetz in the head cos it gets in ur way. they also half kill me each time i walk down my ramp because my layers are at bottom area

jey then have that follow the bronto ur riding and not u.. should solve it :) and repeat if u do a train. Work with the game not against it. :)

i know how to do a train and its exactly what im doing. They dont care who they are following when they are not moving they will look at whatever player is near/infront of them.

The only way around that problem i could find, was to use 2 other medium sized dino in between each bronto (so me <- bronto <- mammoth <- ankylo <- bronto <- spino <- rex <- bronto etc) to enforce space between each bronto. Problem with that is that most other dinos get stuck on stuff way easier than bronto, it makes keeping the convoy together a real pain in the ass xD.
U gotta chain em bro set one dino o follow u then ride it amd order next to follow itll follow that bronto not u repeat so last one follows the middle one works alot better

This is one of the problems I am talking about you cant even get to the next ceiling tile due to dino head follow.
Just asking for an option to turn it off when we want to.
Really it would help a lot to just stop the dinos heads from clipping though stuff to get in the way.
Or for dinos on fallow to register that theor head is close to the person or dino they are following and not try to be half way in something before they stop.

Idk how hard that would be to fix StoneTiger but that would be realy nice. The option to be able to turn it off seems like a nice bandaid until they figure that out.

Yeah I know it wouldn't be a easy thing but it's on my wish list of stuff that I would like to see happen in ark ;)

Its a hell to deal with if you have multiple bronto with platform following each other. The one behind keep pushing you off the platform with his head, no matter where you go on it (it tries to look at you and end up just blocking you from doing anything on there).

Id kill for a way to disable that feature.

Get a flyer fly above them your all good. It's amazing how people never think of the most simple solutions :)
Screw the head turn, I want to disable the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sounds they make, I can't even hear Ppl talking if we're standing by a raptor lol

I love the head turn and have learned to work around it with no issues. I do not condone its removal at all.

This here. I could not imagine anything else.

I also do not understand how a dino moving it's head causes problems for anybody playing.

If you have multiple dinos close together, it makes walking around them a major pain. As much as I like it, functionality wise, it needs to go. It's hinders more than it enhances.

I would love it if tamed dinos had a separate volume slider.

People are finicky and want robot dinosaurs they can use like cattle rather than living creatures.

No..

People want to stop being pushed off of a roof because their dinos head is following them from beneath the roof. People want to be able to have a dino follow them so they can harvest more. People want to be able to move around their base without some other dino sticking their head in the way and NEVER looking the other way.

Try experiencing this yourself before dismissing it.

Yes, yes, YES and a thousand times YES! Let it be an option so those who actually like it can keep it on. But I bet most will turn it off, especially those shooting from the back of a Quetz, I lost count of how many times I've shot mine in the back of the head because of this.
