How do I reveal the map?

I'm on a singleplayer server and I was wondering if there is a way to reveal the full minimap. (The book that pops up when you press m).

Explore it. Iha ent been able to update my game since the winter event but before that the map doesn't show you any pois or anything that you must know anyway.

There are ways to get it cleared but I won't be telling you them because I seriously encourage you to learn the map manually. The island is filled with super interesting little things that you can have all to yourself on SP, so its worth it to just hang out and enjoy it.

I've already explored the whole map. My save got corrupted so I just want the map revealed.

Map status is the same for every save a Ross all servers whether single play or otherwise. If you explored the map and your single player save is gone log into a server and your map will update although I've never had an issue with the map even when I've manually deleted saves so I could start over in single player.

I lost dossiers and map data, just so it again( tho u can cheat in a fast ptera and do "slomo 99" and zip across the map)

i also have this issue. i had the whole map revealed. then my save got corrupt and i had to delete it and load an old one (rename it) and now my map is no longer revealing everything.

The map is revealed based on the character, so if you made a new character you'll have to re-explore the map with them to reveal it.

i can understand that.

what i do not understand is making a new character and trying "the center" for the first time ever, and the entire map being revealed to me from the beginning... is that some setting? i played the center for 20 hours with the full map exposed.

only after my save got corrupted and i deleted the file did it reset my map to only show me the areas i have explored...


and so, i find the "fog of war" or whatever you want to call hiding the unexplored area to be a mediocre feature after you know the area. i'd prefer to have a setting to toggle it so i can see the whole map at some point... the map is all over the internet...


also, completely separate issue with the game: map is out of alignment with the icon that shows player location. (icon shows several degrees to the right, so icon is in the ocean when you are on land to the left of the icon)

or as an alternative look up where each note is and then use the teleport command to warp to where each one is

to get all explorer notes and dossiers just write allexplorernotes in your command bar
