Use Start Parameters , set all on low, go Local and Test each Setting ingame....btw helpful to use TAB -> stat fps ingame to see increase or decrease of fps.

depends which 960, i have the G1 Gaming 4GB VRAM so i can max a few settings except shadows are medium and turn off ground clutter, 30fps on 1080p

Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming 4GB
AMD A8-6600K
8GB RAM (4x2)

the gtx 960 4gb vram is good for medium/high graphics at 1080p without tweaks. you will have to test the advanced options yourself (what do you like/need, what can manage your card).
but for the beginning stay away from castrating commands like -sm4 -nomansky -lowmemory and so on.
recommended commands for you are -useallavailablecores -high

GTX 960 Evega 4g Superclocked, Epic settings no issues pc has 16GB of ram i7 also no liquid cooling all ssd. No issues- love the card got it for 200$ around holidays with 3 year replacement. So far no issues testing overclocking a little to see but since its stocked overclocked really havnt needed to change anything. Hope it helps. Also check out my PVE server called

Thanks for everyones feedback.

I have the EVGA SSC 4GB vram. Bought it for my old PC, A8 with a 730GT, and didnt fit so I built a budget box around it.

Ive got the Steam FPS display on default for all games. Was getting 25 - 30 fps on the old system

How do I use the -useallavailablecores -high command?

any 4gb GTX 960 will do, just tinker with settings in the epic preset and you'll find some nice balance point, the game doesnt need 60fps in my opinion.

in the launch preset for steam library, google or youtube if nesassary

Yeah if you have same card man youll enjoy all games out right now. Great price for what it is specially if you do just 1080 and not 4k its the best money for performance.

be careful with the resolution scale. you can gain some ffps with it but the game gets a very blurry, boxy minecraft look. if you change it more than 10% use a lower resolution instead

Averaging about 45 fps with these settings, with much better graphics. Though I do miss the loading issues where I could see the bare ground, dinos then rocks and trees. :)
Thanks again!
