DisableDinoDecayPvE=false
PvEDinoDecayPeriodMultiplier=1.0
under:
[ServerSettings]
Making the 1.0 smaller should decrease the time. I.e., 0.50 should make the time half as long.
Make sure the PVE checkbox is checked on your settings screen as I think PvE items check for that flag even though single player is obviously PVE by default.
Note that I haven't personally tested it, but it should work.
Yes, or that. :D I always forget the easy way.
It's not cheating. :D It's a much more efficient method than mine. I've just been so wrapped up in server configs lately I think I've forgotten how to use console commands.
Edited to add: On further thought, I think changing timer multipliers only affects new timers, not those already in progress. :/ But hopefully someone will need this info someday and Google will keep it from going to waste. :D
Thanks for the info. Also, I confirm that restarting the server update the ongoing claiming time. From "1" -> "0.1" reduced the time from 7 days (almost 8 days) to 18 hours. So i'm gonna tweak this to my liking as I play "Hardcore". I can live with going back to Level 1 and being indered by crafting but having an army of Dinos sitting there on what used to be my house...I hate it...
Edit: Tweaking the timer to 0 made all my dinos dissapear... So I'm unsure how much time there is between the decay and the claiming...
