Dimetrodon not laying eggs??
Hey guys,
my 2 female Dimetrodons (+1 male) don't lay eggs. I put them on a ramp but I never saw any eggs from them in about 5 realtime days. I thought maybe I just couldn't see them because they lie on top of the eggs, but if one of them lays more eggs than 1 I should see them right?

Well, now I locked them inside a fenced area and put them on wander, still no eggs? Is it just me or can someone confirm something similar?

They drop fertilized eggs btw., just no regular ones.

I find they have to be submerged, mate boosted, oviraptor-influenced, *and* I have to hang out near them, but I am getting a fairly good stream of eggs now.

I taimed 4 females and 1 male dimetradons 2 weeks ago just for the eggs, placed ovioraptor next to them and so far have seen only 1 unfertelised egg! They lay eggs but seems like very rarely!

I have 3F and 1M and no eggs either. I put them in shallow water where they could stand, no eggs. I submerged them in water so theyre floating and bam here come the eggs.

In fact when I was moving one of the females into the deep water she dropped an egg the minute her feet left the grounds surface.

I finally got mine to lay eggs. Floating in a pen and mate boosted wasn't enough. The second I put them on wander they layed eggs. I'm on a modded server with an egg collector and it didn't pick the eggs up before I heard (wait for it...) they ate the eggs. (Yes, it could be a coincidence that the eggs disappeared at the exact time one swam by the egg and I could hear one of them eating.) Within minutes one of the females laid a fertalized egg and the collector picked it up, so at least I know I can reply on that.

Wander would mean you get fertilized eggs. There is a timer on that for repeat. Normally you leave them swimming in water and they will drop eggs. It's a very slow rate, so I use an ovi, and it gets the job done.

dimetrodons aren't reptiles so they don't lay unfertilised eggs But they like are platypuses lay fertile eggs.
it is not reptile or mammal it is seperate...platypus is a mammal that lays eggs. has fur gives its young milk.
