Don't know if this will work 100% but I've been able to use this method without fail on a few occasions where my dinos have fallen under my floors.
it happende to us many times but we are always lucky i think
We had 1 stuck in another structure and removed some ceilings. We removed 1 cieling in between the behemoth gate and for some stupid reason the game decided the gate had no support anymore and destroyed it. The other dino's that are stuck are in the main base which means half the base would collapse.
The dino is hopefully standing on de ground beneath the ceiling if the distance isnt too much. Then you'll simply have to get on the ground too, you'll get the E option to sit on it and then its a case of knowing where to get out. Either via an opening or a foundation.
If the distance is too much there is a 50/50 chance, its floating and removing just the ceilings its on and replacing it with 1 to 2 ramp should do the trick to get you at its feet and walk up the ramp.
Good luck, i know your pain and therefor switched to dinos on foundation or ground only. Especially Rex and Spino.
years later, and this bug is STILL in game
yeay early access title!
your best bet is:
- to either destroy everything close
- use a whip on it so it moves
- set it on follow and leave render distance
- try to pick it up with a quetzal
- tame a new one, it's faster then contzcting support
lol
sweet
i never put dinos on floors/ceilings
what i do is i make a giant square of foundations, and leave the entire middle open

something like this
on the x i put walls on both side of the foundation so i have doubvle layer wall for protection, on the open side is my actual base
the dinos stand in the open ground so they can't glicth, while still being protected by double walls on 3 sides, and my actual base in their back
