Dinos being injured and dying for no reason
Anyone know what's going on here.
I lost 2 quetzels, a bronto, and pleiso for no reason. They didnt starve, nor were they attacked, they just randomly died with no message in the log.

I also logged in today and found one of my remaining brontos was severly injured, again for no reason.

I had a paracera drop dead for no reason a couple days ago, shortly after taming.

When tamed dinos get stuck in the terrain, they get killed without a message, might've been that. Lost 4-5 gigas overall and a few quetzals because sometimes a foot sunk into the terrain after server restarts. No death message whatsoever, but I don't know if they just get deleted without a corpse or if they actually die.

I had 2 icthy's die on ... Patch 232.5 Official server 8. 'Your level xx icthy was killed'. My tribe mate logged out. 2 minutes later the itchy he was just on was killed. I swam to investigate in our enclosed and well protected pen, saw no threat or reason, hopped off my itchy and wham, instantly killed. I thought it might have been related to the previous bug where icthy's would die instantly if surfaced in underground caves but we had done all that safely up until then...
Other marine tames in immediate vicinity suffered no loss although none were icthy's...

Set up a mining camp on the top of the volcano. Had two dodeca up there for stone. Went to fill their feeding troughs last week and they were simply gone. We have a big gate on the entrance so unless they walked up and over the side they simply died. Only other thing we could think was that they got loaded down with stone and outside the trough ranges but we have two troughs on either end of the ground there so should be good. We also check every other day and top off the troughs so....ya just up and died.

Maybe they glitched through the walls, it's a common issue because creatures usually load faster than structures...I'd recommend a transponder tracker for any creatures set to wander :|

Dinos that fall through the world and die do leave a bag as well as a body. Had this happen to a mammoth, went to grab it with my quetz and pushed it under the stone foundations in my base. I tried ordering it to follow me and it drowned. I could see part of its trunk sticking up through my floor. Had i thought of it at the time i could have used admin commands to clip through and recover the saddle, as the body was there.

As for the doeds at the volcano if you are on an unofficial server the admin could try finding them. Things can fall through and not die instantly. If the admin uses the EnableSpectator command they can have markers showing where every living player or player owned dino is on the map and quickly fly to it. If its alive it can easily be found and recovered, just takes some usage of the commands.

This wasn't a problem(for my server anyways) until the Taming nerf.
I never had dinos standing on dirt, just die for no reason at all.

I know they are not starving because I feed them everyday and I know it's not a rouge dilo getting into my base because if it did my bronoto was set to neutral so it would have squashed that dilo like a bug, plus No other dinos in the base were attacked.

Something broke with a recent update.

Just had 4 Anklyos are 2 different mining camps "die" for no reason or message in the log.
Bags were on the ground with 14 and half minutes left on the decompose timer.

Guess ours just fell through. No bags but then we didn't get up there for like a day so who knows. I really wish they'd fix the clipping thing already FFS. We've had people just randomly fall through the map too. Especially if someone dies, there's a good chance their body just clips into the watery death below.
