Unless they're oak twigs, but they're already in a barrel.

Yeah. That thing about jerky? You never used cooked meat for jerky, that'll make it way too dry. you want to smoke it so the flavor stays in... raw.
xD This game isn't very good in the realism context with some of these things but hey. Still fun.
yeap, thanks mate, this worked for me also...
I think you can do both, the video shows just one water botle filled up & not sure if it was needed, but I placed empty water bottles in my irregated barrel to give the beer someplace to go, hope that is right way to do it.
i placed irrigation first then snapped it onto the pipes but its not filling
but i still need to spend 24 engram points to learn the engram so i can craft it and im on level 94 and only have 23 left :/
I had a whole system done with tanks supplying everything. When I went to install the beer barrel, it would not see the tanks as a valid water source. I rebuilt the barrel a couple times using different snap locations/points/pipes. Until I ran a set of pipes to a water source (a "nearby" bay, in this case) and disconnected the tanks from supplying that section of my base, the beer barrel was not accepting the irrigation.
Posting this so that anyone else google searching (like me) can see my result. This is on the current patch, v241.5.
