i know the tech tier allows the players to better handle the gig. but i read somewere that there will be a dino counter. not a boss or another gig. specificaly a hebavoire.
Can we stop one-upping everything in size? This is beginning to feel like less like a dinosaur game, and more like a mix between Godzilla and a Michael Bay movie.. Christ..
The issue with trying to figure this out is the fact that the devs could really pick any creature and up or downsize it as they please.
Pretty much nothing in Ark is the right size. Even the T-rex is so big that it could most probably never have existed, due to the square-cube law. The Giga is something else entirely..
Thing is, it's fine, they made some design choices, and that's their prerogative. I just think it's a very lazy design choice, sort of like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Transformers movie, where every movie has to have bigger transformers, just to outdo the previous one.
I will say though, i do like a lot of the devs decisions regarding the changes in their creatures, adding a frill to the boa, making the Spino quadrapedal, (Debatably accurate to real Spinos) Liopluerodon's oil secretion etc. some of the choices they've made are bloody schmick!
