CPU: Intel 4XXX Series: best price but same power, and the MB cost less
Ram 8GB are enough for everything.
GTX960: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, wait and buy a gtx970, 960 is a no-sense
Windows 7....Use 10, rly better.
GTX980 is a 4k standard, a good 970 (ASUS, MSI 350€) are perfect for all games!
so the cpu/processor I have right now will be able to take one of the higher graphic card like a 970-980? or are you looking at the one I plan on buying cause a lot of these comments seem to be conflicting and just making it more confusing. also what is a SSD? I'm kind of not good with computer parts X.x
PS SSD IS THE WAY :P
ok so if I go for a 970 with the newer processor it should be fine? again I'm not familar with computer parts. thats why I'm asking here if I didn't need help I wouldn't be asking.
For the "new PC" it's better change...all!
You CPU is not bad but have lot of limits, like the ram...
GPU tech is about to take a jump this year, more so then the usual increments. Wouldn't you rather get ~double the performance at the same price?
Also, you'll probably want to update the CPU. Older CPUs don't get the most out of PCI-E bandwidth, which could bottleneck your new GPU. That Skylake i5 will tear it apart though, in a good way.
Also - I get a steady ~55-65 FPS on max settings with my GTX 970. If you can't wait, that's the card to aim for.
80% players have worst cpu
Well I never really cared about making it look ultra pretty, I just want to be able to play the game without it lagging every 5 seconds and unable to basicly move. I don't even care if I have to play it on low really. as long as the fps are good enough to let me move correctly.
how long do you think it will be before they do that jump? cause if it's a year or close to, I'd rather just get the gtx 970 cause ark is really the only game causing me problems, (althought I did need to upgrade my graphic card anyway, so i was gonna do it regardless of ark.)
The less you spend on your graphics card now, the sooner you'll be upgrading later. Since you're pretty casual when it comes to getting the most out of your games, a decent card should last you at least 4-5 years.
