Is there an admin command to teleport a dino?

We have a shark who is stuck in shallow water and can't move; is there a way I can use admin commands to teleport it to deeper water?

I know if you are mounted on the dinosaur and teleport it will also teleport your dinsoaur. But you need to be careful with aquatic creatures cause if you teleport them out of the water they will instantly die.

Yeah setcheatcharacter true and swim away to where you want to teleport and make note of the coords, then mount it and teleport.

The ghost command will work too much more simple. That will turn off clipping and you can get him unstuck.


admincheat ghost
Toggles "ghost mode", permitting the player character to pass freely through objects in the world that normally block movement, including the terrain itself. Use the walk command to disable the mode.

it passes to the ridable animal if your sitting on it while you activate it.

Put it in god mode then do cheat fly.

I got a dino so stuck i couldn't mount it because he was all the way in the wall. I fixed it with these steps:

1. go to a clear area where you want to teleport your dino, and use this command: CopyCoordsToClipboard (or ccc for short)
2. command: cheat walk
3. command: cheat ghost
4. Now you have to walk through the wall to your dino and your view has to be in between the rocks in a way that will let you see the dino's menu. It probably wont let you mount it from here (mine didn't) but get to where you can see the menu and then do next step.
5. command: cheat MoveTargetTo <x> <y> <z> (x, y and z are the first three numbers from the first command you ran, it should still be in your clipboard to paste in, delete the last two numbers which are Yaw and Pitch).
6. if you could see the dino's menu at the moment you ran that command then your dino should be teleported to the area you chose in step 1
7. get out of the wall and repeat commands: "cheat walk" and "cheat ghost" to turn them off.

Thanks! Somehow got my ichthyosaurus stuck above the water, not even near a beach, and this let me save him!

Dude YOU ARE A SAVIOUR!!! Ok listen, I got my para and me stuck inside an indestructible rock near a cliff cause I ran to it and the rock had not render yet so I was inside it, I was so confused for a moment until I realize what happened, I dismounted thinking I and my Para would just pop outside Oh was I so wrong, and then my struggle for finding a way to unstuck my para started, after trying everything nothing worked, I almost gave up on him, but I loved him so much to let him go so I went on my million search again and found this! You just saved my drowning spino who was stuck on nothing and wouldn't allow me to equip a saddle, keeping these instructions for future issues. Cannot thank you enough!

Works perfectly in ASA, saved my Dino!
