Oviraptor not eating eggs?
I knocked out an Oviraptor (first one, didn't find one before) and it isn't eating ANY of the eggs I give it? Tried rex, dodo, spino, giga, etc. :o

Should eat any kind of egg, if it's hungry enough. Better eggs require a lot of hunger before they'll be eaten.

same. not eating at all. i have rex eggs in it's inventory and it's just about to starve.

EDIT. I just added some meat to his inventory, it then ate an egg. Weird.

I thought it was suppose to pick up your dino's eggs why is it not doing this?
and I have to manually feed it eggs.

It only needs to eat eggs when you're taming it. After it's tamed it will eat meat.

It doesn't pick up our dino's eggs, it just decreases the time between mating and supposedly increases egg laying IF on wandering.
It will pick up wild dino eggs, but it can only carry one at a time.

Unless something has changed, that doesn't actually work. It has to be on follow to pick up eggs, and it won't pick up allied eggs at all.

Eggs have much higher food value than meat - the undesireable eggs like dodo etc. have 70 food value, and the desireable ones from the larger dinos have food values of between 140-200 food, so it takes it longer to get hungry enough to eat them than meat-eaters. Just be patient.

was never ment to pick up ur eggs not sure what the endgame for that is after all giga egg is 40 and base ovi carries just over 100 so u would have to empty him every 3 eggs anyway.

ovi changes lay timer from 17 mins between lay chance to 11.5 mins between lay chance
Thanks for the adding Meat trick. It worked for me.
