Easier Wall Building
Can we get a system to assemble groups of walls together before actually placing them? Basically snap all the parts together form a virtual setup rather than the current in game method and then take the finished product out for placement.

Or add a way to build preset amounts of walls in 2x2, 2x4, 4x4, etc. fashion.

This would allow building of perimeter walls or large structures to be simplified and less of a hassle.

This could easily be applied to foundations or ceilings as well.

you mean simcity style ?, a simple flip button would work and make for some interesting cosmetics with the sloped and angled if was able to flip them.

Currently all walls, foundations, and ceilings are 1x1. If you could build them in a 2x2 or 4x4 fashion you could simultaneously place multiple items at once. This would allow you to quickly assemble a large building or perimeter fence rather than having to go place every individual item.

Ideally I would like to design small structures or small parts of large structures and construct them pre-assembled and then snap all the parts down at once, but that is a bit more work than simply allowing me to build multiple walls pre-snapped together.

forget it. core mechanics of building are fixed. even if you thinks its only a minor tweek it will never be changed. all you can do is hope for a mod when u arent happy with the current building setup.

and dont talk alpha on me, i have been in every alpha building and simulation game on steam, they never changed whats there, only added cosmetic, basically what u get in early access you get in finished game with 1% less bugs and 10% more content.

mark my words when they release final version

This wouldn't be an edit to core mechanics, in fact it builds on them. In either situation, whether they allow virtual setup of structures pre-construction or simply allow larger sections of wall, foundation, and ceilings, they would still be placed the same way, simply more at once. they could even make the pre-assembled structures a unique item until it is placed or disassembled.

No offense, but i sincerely hope that you are wrong.
