I have seen some spinosaurus to the north, but so far they haven't come this far south.
EDIT: Also, there is a nearby cliff I might incorporate into my walls. Is that possible or will there always be a gap between the wall and the cliff?
the update that makes dinos flee when they cant reach you might stop it the best way with a slingshot is get it stuck in trees or run around a big rock hitting it in face also wait 5 seconds for each hit so you do torpour damage not major health damage
Spinos are actually pretty passive. They are more interested in fish than you. I can only get a Spino to attack me if I run up to him. They don't even bother with Rexes.
It's the Sarco's you gotta watch for.
Good to know! Thanks
If your tamed Dino is following you, it will not take fall damage.
Parasaurs DO collect very, very small amounts of berries. They can attack, but that's not their point. The parasaur is like a horse, you use it to get around and to carry stuff better than a Phiomia. I personally really like using parasaurs, and I think a good amount of Weight, Speed, and Stamina put into it makes a great mount for exploring the island early game.
I'm not exactly sure, but it shouldn't. Coels don't seem to be affected by buildings placed around them.
