Dinos falling through map
perhaps it has something to do with our location on the map, but we have repeatedly had dinos fall through to the "underworld" of ARK. We have however found a method for pulling the dinos back out of the ground. I'm still hoping that gets fixed, but i've encountered a new problem. I was riding a dino when it fell through the map, i managed to escape from drowning down there by swimming to the where there is water on the map (a sort of one way portal puts you back on the surface. however, the dinosaur i was riding (level 116 kibble tamed bronto) did not end up in the water below my base, it seems to have vanished entirely, thanks to the fantasitc new tribe log, i can tell you the dino is still alive, as it does not tell me that the thing died, but that only gives me a little comfort as its food bar will drain in a matter of a few weeks. If anybody can help me with this i would greatly appreciate it

Lost a Quetz today in the same way, was able to see his name under the ground, but not reachable. The name vanished, no info in the tribelog. It had a transponder, but its missing there too. Bad thing :(

your bronto is gone, there will never be a message in the log, it just ceases to exist, this has been happening for months, i'd suggest you move to a new area or be prepared to continually loose more dinos.

I lost a max tame Doed few months ago, rode it up to the back of my Quetz to unload it then it just sank lower and lower.....just like that. Today I lost a max tame Anky. Was arrying him on my Quetz along with two other Quetz following then the Anky just started swirling up in the air, swirled below me then all around then ended up on the platform saddle on my other Quetz flying behind me. I went to land and it wasnt there anymore. Yep goodbye 4hrs total of tmaing. Freakin rediculous!

A quick search will show this issue has been happening for ages and only got worse when they introduced breeding, juveniles are very prone to sinking and poofing.
Had it happen 3 consecutive tries (3 weekends of sitting there feeding a baby), it was around this stage that I quit playing end game ARK ark as the time it takes to do anything is horrific and you lose it the moment you log out.
Have been calling for devs to fix this and stop adding content (which most of us cant be bothered trying anymore as it just poofs on you anyway).
Being a developer myself I really cant understand that this hasnt been marked as bug #1 and that it still exists in the game almost a year later is just NOT ON!

If you can figure out where the dino is, like by a transponder for example it is possible to cheat your way to him and bring him back out, if you are very lucky. Doesn'twork always. You need to take a look at my cheatslist at: A better list of cheats for ARK. You'll find a fly cheat there, if you manage to find your pet, with ghost cheat you can go through the earth by using the fly cheat, mount it and just move back out. But as I already said be warned it doesn't always work. You gotta be lucky!

I'm the owner on my server, and our server's mascot keeps falling through the ground even when I ghost him out. They need to fix this, he's my most valuable dino.

Edit- Oh crap, just read the last reply date. Sorry for necroposting!
