What do you do to make a baby raptors health stay up?
So my baby raptor just hatched and I keep on feeding him constantly. His health keeps going up and down so I put 4 campfires around him with some standing torches around him for warmth. His health still does the same thing as before but his health went up. Am I doing something wrong?

Google, Ark Wiki are really helpful. You need to forcefeed babies untill they are juvenile and then you have them feed off the feedingthrough until they mature.

After a baby is hatched, the temp doesnt matter. You just have to feed the baby with meat or berries till they reach 10% of there maximum weight. After that, you can use a feeding trough. ARK Wiki Table of Breeding or Breedingtimes are REALLY helpful for more Infos about this.

The only thing you need to do for a baby dinosaur is to keep food in their inventory. That's it. Health and food will fluctuate as it eats. The dino will not be at 100% health once it hits fully grown and able to have a saddle put on it.

Will prime meat be more effective for his maturity to go up?

Maturity is a static time for each different dino that isn't affected by type of meat.

http://ark.gamepedia.com/Breeding#Maturation_Phases

Shows 3 hours 45 minutes of keeping food in its inventory for it go from a baby raptor to a juvenile raptor. From there, another 33 hours and 45 minutes to fully grown. Use cooked meat in the feeding trough. It doesn't give a bonus but it has a longer decay time plus it stacks to 30 unlike raw meat which only stacks to 20.
