CONSOLE COMMANDS NOT WORKING!!

I can NOT for the life of me to get my console commands to work, I have been searching google for the last 3 days trying to find out how to make them work, and they just won't! It's driving me crazy! Thanks in advance.

no, I'm hosting my own server. No admin commands will work at all, even after entering my password with enablecheats and everything.

Have you used the SetPlayerCheat true command before attempting anything else?

what do you mean?
all my ports are opened, I see my server on the server list on several sites.
yes it is windows. I am also playing on the same computer that i am hosting.

1. is your steam id on the whitelist or did you login via password?
2. did you write "cheat" before every command? (like cheat giveitemnum 72 1 0 0 0 for example)

can anyone else help? i'm really getting annoyed by this, as soon as i login to my own server i get bombarded by 500 different dinosaurs...please help lol

i am just annoyed that i can not to admin commands on my own server, isn't there like a list of commands in the server files or anything? If i already whitelisted my steam id why wouldn't it work? I just don't understand how this isn't working...

did you whitelist the right steamid? yours is 76561198128072756
after you whitelisted it (and restarted the server) just join your server and try cheat giveitemnum 72 1 0 0 0 for example for adding a gps. it should work. if not: you've done something wrong

If you are running a seperate server (dedicated server) then joining your own server, you will need to enter your admin password first into the console to be able to get admin privledges. If you are hosting a game from within the client(serve and play), then no password is needed.

Once in game if its a non dedicated server just open the console and type fly, if it lets you fly around then you have admin privledges. For dedicated server do the same thing, just enter your admin pass first. Once you use the fly command, if it does let you fly around then you do have admin privedges and the other commands you are entering are not being entered correctly, which is why they didnt work. List some of the other commands you were trying before I will try to help you more if I can.
