Nitrado Ark Server Problems.. Help!
My friends and I got a server from Nitrado, I would try their forums but they are in German and nothing translates from it (I'm from USA)

Issues we are having::
1. All dino types aren't spawning and it seems that some spawns are messed up
-- Argentavis are spawning on beaches where Pteras usually do.
--We have found no stegos, trikes, doed, pteras and maybe some other types.. (I haven't played since june so there are a lot of new things)
2. Our server is stuck on pve, we've disabled it multiple times but it wont change.
3. We also tried to change the map on their website but it wont work either.

Any ideas or suggestions would be very helpful!

1. Not a server problem, a bug with the Winter Wonderland update
For the other issues, the Nitrado support answers questions in English. Their forums also have a category for english speaking customers. Just check there.
I put in a ticket and they sent us here, no joke.
But since it's a bug with Winter Wonderland, I hope that shiz ends soon. Everything is too bright! lol

contact nitrado. they probably have some "noob security function" that overrides every config change as always.. never understood all their protection stuff. you can change things from their website for example but only if the server is offline, you made a backup, you summoned satan, sacrificed a giganotosaurus and did all the steps again.. way too complicated.. i'm glad i just need to click 1 button or change 1 line if i wanted to disable pvp/pve

I have nitrado, I have found many solutions to many small probelms, I have three servers, and one of them is a modded Valhalla map, for small problems and set up issues I can help when I am around, add a post here, or add me on steam

press tab to open admin commands
enablecheats
cheat DestroyWildDinos

In order to change settings,
Stop the server
Wait a minumum of three minutes
change settings
save, wait to be sure it says "changes saved"
restart server

if you want to change map its alittle more comlpex depending what map you use, you may need filezilla to transer the files direct to your server, add me as a friend if you still want to do this

Nitrado is bad. they use custom scripts that don't work properly and arnt tested. Change the gameusersettings.ini and game.ini files directly and avoid using their launch parameters or custom ini files.

Well cheers for all the replies chaps! I've put a support ticket in and asked on the forums last night, no replies yet. I've stopped the server, waited, saved, waited, switched to expert, saved, edited the ini manually for no PvE, saved, restarted and it still says PvE lmfao, sometimes you can refresh (non expert mode) multiple times and then randomly for no reason the PvE tickbox will just 'tick' itself? (even after it has been unticked for half an hour)
It's a shame because we can't really play or invite all our friends from work to start the game properly for the past 3 days so far.

do you know how to reinstal? i would do that, takes ten minutes, then do your settings all at one, carefully, then save, then restart

I'm not entirely sure, I'm unfamiliar with Nitrados control panel (god how i wish multiplay would release their ark servers!) I'll mess around moreso if there isn't a chance of it randomly deleteing my world save, I'm just trying to find how to download that to ensure no catastrophes aha!

unfortunately Nitrado isn't real big on the CS part. Our server was down for 3 days, I guess about 2 weeks ago. We still haven't heard anything from them. If you go and read the english forums over there you'll see a lot of that goes on. Although I hear if you pay for all the extra bells and whistles things start to miraculously work.
