Where's my platform code????
So when i purchased the game in the details it said to email them about a code for a specific platform. SO I Emailed them about it for xbox one... Several months later here we are no reply. AND for all you ASSUMERS there are no emails from them in my spam folder. I find it awful that they put money before their customers.

PC --> steam (the Company Valve) Manages the Sales. Some Money goes to them
Xbox --> Microsoft
Ps4 --> Sony

Why Should you get a Code for every Platform without paying one of the companies i Listed a Single Cent? They own These Networks And decide which Games they allow, which one is allowed to be Cross Plattform (every Single one of them has a Security System that does Not allow you to just Host a Server on PC for Four Xbox Version for example). If you bought the Game on PC you Decided which Platform you want to use. If you want the Xbox Version, go buy it on Xbox too

Like I said the game details said to email them about an early access code so I did and they aren't even decent enough to say something like "we didn't realize microsoft wouldn't allow us to do that" or "We're sorry you aren't eligible for the early access code on Xbox" not to be petty and ignore me. So Don't be hating I'm only stating what happened to me.

Where did you bought the game and when, exactly. It's certainly not on steam, they can't email you.

From the steam store you go to the game home page and then to their website "contact us". Totally hard to find them it took two hours of circular links to get there. I purchased the game in July but my pc couldn't handle it then I've upgraded now, hence why the Beta access code was my hope. Several of my friends also have mentioned the "beta" codes because they are considering the Xbox one. They changed the Information panel right before the xbox one release. I'm not asking for anything from anyone except the dev's, just an email back saying that the line about it was a mistake or that they messed up. I'm not getting my hopes up.

What?
Where did this purchase happen?
I would expect that you would buy the game via the Xbox preview and it would be account tied, and steam obviously is account tied... So at what point would you have to email Them about getting a key? This sounds fishy.

so the Windows 10 pc I own or the Xbox one? They didn't put money in microsoft's pockets? Or purchasing this "In development game" didn't send the mfg. money? how's that work then do ypu get it all?

There is no Code, if you buy it on steam you do it via your account, and there is no code... Also there is no beta, Ark is not in beta, it's in Alpha... nothing about your statements make any sense, where they hell did you buy the game from? Not steam, you'd not get anything but a receipt, not an email about contacting some1 about a code, that makes no sense.

In the steam store, yes i have confirmation number, As for the access code it was mentioned in the Product description along with the system requirements, Obviously they've changed the information panels since july. Because the game is available on xbox now.

Still, not making sense, there was never an option to get it for xbox from steam... You might have bought it on steam, but there is no way you'd being buying it for Xbox from the steam page...

I paid for the game on the steam store about a month after it came out. Knowing the game used lots of resources I READ the description and infoormation tabs to see if my pc could play it. To my surprise they only recommended a duo core 3.0 ghz, 4 gig's ram, 2gb gpu... You know the crappy specs I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about before. On a 3.5 ghz processor it plays crappily. But back to the topic at hand. In the support section of the reading there was a single line about emailing them about the access code for xbox one, or purchasing the multi platform bundle, Which never was made available.

They must have been trolling to see how many people wanted to play on xbox. 10,000 requests = yes on xbox. ???
nutzyskwerl Jan 1, 2016 @ 5:41am
I'm done "discussing" this anyway I'll just go play Fallout 4 while I wait for ARK to become more streamlined.

dont get your point.. you buy a game on a PC store and expect to get a copy for a console which is not related at all with steam? you payed a small fee to valve while buying the game on steam. you didn't pay microsoft for the xbox version or anything. you have decided your platform as you bought the game on steam. not the faul of ARK if you can't read.
