When playing Ark my screen sometimes randomly turns black, not at the loading screen but just when i am playing

After like 2 minutes of playing my screen turns black and i cant play anymore. It is very annoying that i cant play anymore and i cant find any forum or other place that can solve my problem. I also cant find anybody with the same problem. Please help me!

this is issue i havent experienced with ark, but with other games, some processes that might help, make sure your drivers are up to date, make sure your game files are ok by validating the install in steam, and finally, make sure your graphics card is not overheating....is it clean and free of dust? use temp monitoring software and see if it is going over your cards thresh hold. another question to ask is, does it just immediately go black? or is there any artifacts (glitches in the screen) before it goes black, even for a split second, if there are, could be releated to heat. if attempting any mods, run it without them, if your using launch commands experiment without those, or with those if your not using them. what happens after it turns black, how do recieve control, do you have to restart the computer? do you close the game? can you alt+tab? does your monitor lose signal entirely? or is it just related to the game itself?

Heat or Power. Check to see if there are any dust bunnies in the GPU fan that need to be set free

ARK really stresses out computers because of how high tech it is, definately heat or some some sort of lack of power like kenny said

i have the same problem but 3 years later XD
