Prevent a quetzal from landing
We just tamed the first quetzal on our server - joy! - and my first order of business seemed to get another quetzal, for the sake of sharing, breeding, backups, all the good stuff.
I built a simple thatch cage for testing purposes, and it works wonderfully.
Trapped and knocked out this great looking quetz, all excited, leave it hovering in place while I make prime runs on my argent, all going great.
Until halfway through the quetzal decides it's due for a nap and wanders off to land, dropping the wild quetzal into the swamp to die a horrible death...
Is there any way I can prevent my quetzal from landing on its own accord like that?

Watch you're stamina build a platform saddle hit e don't move once hit e just let it rest without you riding it. It will Regen stamina.

It's not stamina related. The only way to prevent the quetzal from doing it's own thing when hovering is to leave someone on the platform. If you abandon it in flight it will wander every time. I would suggest making some quetzal kibble so you don't have to leave your quetzal to farm prime.

You could take a raptor on passive, put it on the platform and have the quetz follow it. It sould work.
