Bronto on a boat...

Evening all,

Can someone tell me what exactly a Bronto can stand on? My raft is made up of the central raft with two large platforms either side, made up of 2 foundations each with wooden ceilings on and around them in a 3x3 square. My Brontos won't stand on them, is it because they can't stand on ceilings?

Any help would be great. Bascially I want to be able to transport my Brontos over sea because I set up my cosy little house on Herbivore Island.

I dunno, I'm pretty sure I've seen a bronto on a boat before but I can't remember when or where.... I do know though, that if you build to close inland on Herbi island your'e gonna permanently screw up metal spawns.

Don't worry about that, I'm well and truly established and the metal is fine. Yeah I'm sure I've seen it done before but it doesn't seem to work for me.

In one of the patches they made it so brontos,quetzals and giganotasarus' cant walk onto any platform(boats/saddles) so unfortunately youll either have to swim them or build a bridge!Try putting them on follow so they dont lose stamina and take your raft across the ocean itll take a while but at least they will get there

I would build a bridge. So you don't have to swim a lot back and forth. Plus makes your base look better. Also if you make little bridges from the little islands to the bigger part of the herbivore island you can place pillars underneath to keep sharks out and can keep all your water tames safe in a big pen

Young padawan learner, you have not yet learned how to build on the raft.

You need to build "Floating Foundations" on rafts to make something large enough for the bronto to stand on.

You cannot be banned for a simple necro like this. It is not a violation except in some peoples minds.

Actually the moderators for a game can issue bans for any arbitrary reason they want to. They totally can and will ban people for any random reason just because they want to and no one can stop them or moderate them. If they want to ban folks for that they can. I had reported people for that around 2016~2017 and they used to issue bans for it, maybe not anymore today though. It doesn't have to be a "violation" of anything. If they want to ban people for saying the word "green" they can do that too. It's their game and their forums.
