But fires influence the hypo/hyper (idk xD) insulation stuff
So you wont see any diff at the temp but a bit to the left
And as I know, you wont see if the temp is good for the egg or not, well, you see if the health reduces or the hatching time..thats to only indicator
Best is to build few air conditioner
With 12 AC's you can hatch an egg in most conditions and no biome impact the health of a hatching egg with 20 AC's. I have tested this in Biomes that get below freezing and hot enough to kill you.
So I cannot isolate my house to raise the temperature, regardless of types of material.
The only way to raise the temperature is by using air conditioners, which is a level 55 item... :(
I was looking a different youtube videos and reading discussions by people raising the temperatures with campfires, standing torches or grills.
I must have misunderstood something there. What is hyperthermal isolation?
So there is no way to hatch eggs is cold environments without AC's?
Is there a way to see if the enviroment is too cold or hot for the hatching egg?
Thank you for your replies :)
The thing is..fire, forges and such increase some of ur hyper/hypothermystuff, not the temperature
This means, that the temperature stays the same, but ur better insolated.
Sounds weird that a campfire insolates you better from cold and doesnt raise the temp, but I guess they made it like this to have an easy way. Cuz like this...the hyper/hypotherm insulationthings work all same
Wear fur -> better protected from cold
Campfires kinda does the same
So yea, you can breed ur eggs with enough campfires, standing torches and whatever...but you have to consider, if the temperature raises the egg may get dmg again, cuz then it is too hot. So you have to turn some fires off
Air conditioner makes the life just easy. I have 7 formed like an U and I put the egg between them.
And they give so much hypo/hyperthermal insulation..that the egg can hatch also when its freaking cold or hot outside..the AC's work really nice xd
Okay, so my fireplace and torches will work, I just have to figure out the right temperature/hypo?
Is there any way for me see if the temperature/hypo is too low or high?
Just by checking if the hatchbar or the lifepointsbar decreases.
Just had a thought...idk about the penguins...somewhere I read that you stay warm near them. So maybe they work for eggs too.
Like a noob-air conditioner or so xD
Erm, sure?
Bred now so many dinos and never saw a difference..and some eggs were rly low on health :o
And this info is nowhere else shared :o
So for example
Parent 1:
Health: 20
Sta: 10
Oxy 15
Food 30
Parent 2:
Health: 5
Sta: 40
Oxy: 20
Food: 5
The baby could end up with
Health: 20
Sta: 40
Oxy: 20
Food 30
->Lv 110
Or
Health: 5
Sta: 10
Oxy: 15
Food: 5
->Lv 35
Lv of the Baby depends on the stats it inherit and this was something like 70% chance to get the higher one...so with luck it gets all high stats..with bad luck all low stats..or something between them..
I made two standing torches and that seemed to do the trick. So 3 standing torches and a fireplace is way too hot for a raptor egg :D
