are there any mods/ anyway for me to activate the old seasonal events on my server?

for singleplayer there is a line way at the bottom of the settings, before you start your world. You can put the cresponding event code in to activate it.

did they give us the option to enable seasonal events? last i heard WC needed to enable the game files or else the event won't activate.

I see you're at it again. There's no rumor nonsense. They clearly stated their diminishing the capabilities of the holiday events back at the end of 2022. Colors and some features can still be accessed and the rewards are in the helena store stuff(or just one can used admin commands as well to spawn them). Christmas is one of the few events that can work mostly as normal when setting the event launch command for it.

More nonsense. Events diminishing was due to pretty much their intentions with Ascended and stopping maintaining ASE. Many of the events require server side alterations up to and including things that altered the workings of the maps. This is why, per above, many of the events do not run normally due to their no longer doing server(that includes single player) alterations that they'd do seasonally before.

All in all, the both of you are being silly.

I miss Love evolved, the heart candy + Bat potion would have been so good. I would have ran out and mass tamed 150 brontos, diplos, etc.

Always having the xmas event is great and all, but its the nerfed xmas without the longneck in the pool and without turning the maps white and snowy. And the gacha claus loot is really bad.

I first played ark during the old xmas event and the island was all white and I was like "Wtf? this isn't how it looked in people's videos".
