That happened to me too. It took about 5 days to a week before the server went back up, so don't worry too much, it probably just having some downtime for now. If the server doesn't come back, you might need to find another server.

search your server on arkservers.net and in the steam server browser. sometimes ark doesn't show the server even if it's online. happened to my server in the last few days. it was online the whole week and yesterday people asked why it was offline for so long

if you know the ip of the server try to ping it or use link. if it das not respond it's ofline or not updated to the latest patch.

server wipe probably.
If you play in any unofficial be ready to eventually wipe

1. the server doesn't vanish from your favorites only because it got wiped..
2. wipes are a good thing if done correctly and most of the players agree on it. just look at most official pve servers. you can build nowhere since everyone built pillars on the whole map

I have a lot of experience in official and unofficial servers and wipe is very common in unofficials.
Exist many reason for this.
admin got bored of Ark and close the server.
admin not afford pay for the server and it vanish.
admin just want create a new server and wipe is necessary.
Wipe is not really necessary admin can just use (DestroyMyTarget) to clear all pillar

i did not say that there are some unofficial servers where wipes happen without telling the players. mostly bad admins do this. a wipe is still a pretty good thing. some servers get wiped every 3 months and start with a different map and different mods after that. the players can vote what they want for the next wipe and stuff like that. These things aren't even possible on official servery yet and let the game get more and more intertesting since everything can change with the next wipe. However it's still not related to the topic. If a server gets wiped it still is in your favorites since ark uses the steam server browser. this browser logs IP-adresses. the ip obviously doesn't change if you wipe a server. it is still shown in your favorites. OP has clearly a different problem here

In steam, upper left, in tiny letters(got to love bad UI design), you will see the world View. Click it and a menu will open.

In the menu, you will see an option near the bottom(4th from bottom) called Servers; click that.

This will pop open a windown with a few tabs. Two you are intersted in are Favorites and History. Look in both to see if your old server is listed; you might see an IP without a name, and that could be your server.

This should give you a starting point.

However, also as has been suggested, go to arkservers.net and try to find your server by name.
