StairsMod (520879363), 520879363
BetterTorch (526513986), 526513986
ArchitectureModMultiplayer (539464369), 539464369
TestMap_Bridge (558651608).558651608
Bfire (573571051), 627340159

StarGatesLevel (609380111),609380111
CuteHair (618916953), 618916953,
ArkAdvanceDrops (627340159), 627340159

What happened yesterday? That will show your problem :P Was there a mod update? a server setting change? ETC
Gryphon77 Mar 11, 2016 @ 7:03pm
Yeah, it turns out we thought of that line of reasoning. No updates. The only change we can guess at is Nitrado changing their server interface. Anyone else having this problem?

hmm if you didn't change any server settings, just double check the subscribed mods - see if any of those were updated the other day.

You could try checking the logs - I'm not sure how Nitrado works as I use a VPS, but the server logs should be in the ARK directory might give you some ideas? I'm guessing its a mod issue or a local ARK issue with your server only as the forums don't seem to be blowing up with the same issue.

Actually, if you havent made any changes to the server config lately it almost definitely sounds like an MOD issue as there havent been any ark updates for a while :-)

We may have to just go through each mod and see if we can figure it out. Thanks

This happened to my crew on our private 10 slot Nitrado server. It started the day before yesterday. We're running zero mods, so that may not be your problem. Nitrado answered our ticket with "check the steam forums".

I wish us all good luck in figuring this out ourselves.

same happens to us , buildings disapear when logged , die'd or move to far away ... had a 2week base building dissapear , resetted server only to see its still happens

Same here, also with Nitrado. Everything keeps dissapearing, even after serverwipe. Vanilla or modded server, doesn't matter.

This is clearly on Nitrado's end. There is 1 post on the Nitrado forum in German but that's it.

This started happening thursday morning CET. Everything worked perfectly and now it's just completely broken.

So I'm not alone in this, I logged in after a few days of not playing, and the entire corner of one of my building was missing, I thought "Damn Giganto" but the fences and pikes where all there, it sucks, but Alpha gods tend to say "It's early access, so don't get to attached yet".

Yeah, alpha gonna alpha. Just sucks that we can't play anymore. No use in playing at all since whatever you build despawns anyway.

Oh well, guess I'll have to break my friends hearts tonight and play more Stardew instead :)

I wouldn't mind if it were the f'in Alpha creature bastards, but if the game/server is simply despawning things, that sucks balls, regardless of my earlier statement about attachements to our stuff :)

Thankfully a thread with thesame issue.

We had a few large bases that had parts disappearing when
- someone logged in it had more parts missing
- when you moved away very far and it had to render again, more parts missing still.

No mods, settings were only changed on nitrado webinterface. (nothing too crazy).

Nitrado finally suggested a complete server wipe , which we did (and with it destroying nearly 2500 hours of work).. Only to find that it's still happening today.

Our problems started thursday 10th of march.

Also :
- Restoring backups (even when 6 days old) did not help. Structures still went missing.
- No changes in settings in the past 2 weeks.
- Called nitrado 3 times, no solution

Our players now refuse to play and are quitting donations untill this is resolved.

I also tried restoring older backups, didn't help, it sucks, but I accept these things however ♥♥♥♥♥♥ they might be, as we might be "victims" to bugfixes of this sort of "disasters" in the future.

if a company i paid for would answer me with this i would immediately write them back that they are working as a SUPPORT. seriously if my root server encounters ANY problem i have a guarantee that it is getting fixed within the next 8 hours. that's what a support certificate is created for. doesn't nitrado have a similar agreement like this one (https://www.webtropia.com/fileadmin/templates/webtropia/public/download/sla_en.pdf) ? i can even get money back if the issue is clearly on their side and they can't fix in within the given amount of time... a support has to communicate and solve problems not refer to a public forum..
also it can't be a global problem every ark server encounters. i don't get this problem for example and i use also many mods like OP does

on a 10 slot Nitrado server and not encountered this issue yet thankfully which datacenter are you guys using it might be specific ones that are affected i'm using the UK one

Happened to a server i played on too. It was about 2 months ago. The owner messaged nitrado and from what i heard, he got a new server and it was fixed. We weren't running any mods and he hadn't changed any files for a long time.
