That's not what the OP was referring to.
When you have Inventory OPEN, T is used to transfer items, not call your dinos. This is a default commands, not a key change. You open Inventory on an object with F, hover over the item to transfer, and hit T.
You can use F to OPEN inventories on dinos and other items, and is most used to prevent you from turning powered items off or mounting/dismounting your dinos when interacting with them.
When you are not in your inventory, T is used to call dinos.
Does 'O' work?
Also, have you tried manually moving all game files to a backup location after you uninstall and before you reinstall? It sounds a lot like corrupted bits of data somewhere.
Yes O works fine i've just never been able to use the T to tranfer item to a different inventory since the added it to the game.
Yeah the key works fine, i can use it to whistle out of the inventory and works fine in everything else, and yeah i made back up's and then did a completly remove and reinstalled and after i got done checked file integrity and it still finds corrupt files even though it just redownloaded and reinistalled, other then trying that again the only thing i can think is to try putting it on another drive and starting fresh again. If anyone has any other suggestions I appreciate the help
I was a diagnostic PC tech for more than a decade and I don't miss HDDs at all. I had to reinstall everything every couple years on HDDs. I've had this same system SSD and I've added a couple game and other SSDs in the past few years and haven't had bad files once.
Had this problem before, reset my keybinds to default and it fixed the problem. I had remapped the T to something else and lost the option to transfer while in inventory.
Also when you uninstall you should go in and delete you steam ark folder (back up map and character data beforehand) should fix you file problems.
ALSO THE 2 CORRUPT FILES that didn't update after verification could be read only causing them to not update.
Hope it helps
