Snow biome
Can tamed dino's survive the blizzards in the snow biome or do I have to park my Argentavis inside somehow ?
I'm saving for a full fur armor set before I'm going there.

Any tips to survive the snow or for base building in the snow biome would be welcome.

The weather does not affect Dinos.

Here's a tip:

Fortitude. Campfires. Thatch. These will help you stay warm out there in the cold, cold north.

Or you could tame a Dimetrodon.

Went to read about the Dimetrodon. Taming one won't be the problem, getting one to the snowy area alive will be though -.-".

Yes is wish it would as well. How interesting would it be if the game was designed so that the tames a tribe would have would be influenced by the biome their base was in? It would add an additional dimension of complexity on an already deep and great game.

And plenty of food. You will need to eat to stay alive when cold. Fria Curry is helpful of course.

Honestly, weather isn't your greatest concern in the snow biome. That place teems with direwolves and rexes, and they won't hesitate to wreck your day. It also seems to be a common place for gigas to spawn, so that's another thing to keep an eye out for.

Fly your argy in, grab deer/wolf, drop it in a pen in a warmer area, kill & harvest for pelt. Make fur pieces as you can then rinse & repeat until done.

Right. I have a metal mining operation going on in the north east by the foot of the mountain, above the treeline. T-rexes tend to walk into my base from time to time but the wooden spikes kill them before I even can determine where all the screeching sounds are coming from.
I don't know how effective spikes are against giga's though. I will bring a whole lot of spike walls to ring around my base.

Can't wait to finally go explore the snowy biome. Thanks for all the advice people.
