Where can I find fur?

Where can I find fur? I need it to be in snow.

Sadly, the only place i've found fur is IN the snow biome.

Beavers drop fur
Just not very much of it

Set up base near snow biome with campfires. Kill mammoths, mooses, wolf for pelts near border.

the most that drop i think is mammoths

also, if you kill fur-animals with direwolf or sabers it will give you more fur ;)

Tame an argent then tame a wolf using it (you can pick the wolf up) and the just kill a lot of mammoth and get fur in no time.
