What's the best Dino/Animal to tame for meat?
I was easier tames, I know a Rex or Giga is the best but I'm not there yet lol... I was thinking carno, wolf, anything else?

raptor for starters, then carno. Megalodons are fantastic for getting meat in the water. Sarcos are handy too - just set one to wander on aggressive and it'll clear the river of piranhas & coel in no time.

Raaptor. When I was lower level I would Pick a Raptor over a carno.

Spino

Raptors, Carnos, Sabers, Wolves Any of them will get you a good amount of meat fast. With raptors just make sure not to take on anything to big unless its a low lvl
Depends on where you are. If you're near a shallow river or pond full of coels, nothing's going to get you meat faster than hunting them. With a spino I can get 300 meat in under two minutes from walking out my door to coming back in, just by eating coels, because there's always plenty of them in shallow water just a bit past my house. A sarco could do nearly as well if a spino's out of your budget, or even a raptor if I stay in the shallows. But if I didn't live on a shallow river, you'll be stuck sticking with the much slower return on land animals.

Frog

I honestly found either a decent ptera or frog to be far more effective than raptors or carnos for meat. When you get the rex then that takes over.

Still though I do a lot of CP farming with my 200 frog and end up with more meat than I can use.

I recently started to use a ptera (or quetz) with two argents as company. Very mobile, fliers usually don't get stuck.

Raptor Carno Wolf Saber for ground(wolf if you want to not worry about saddle needs as well) starters. If you can manage it a really strong frog is even better due to its additionally being able to gather cement paste with bugs and its ability to torpor knock out anything depending on how you ratio the damage.

For flying pteradons are ok for lil things but argentavis are best until you get a quetzal.

For water, easiest is meglo but then later angler (since you can day and night with their light and dont need a saddle) then pleis and mosa's but they're limited to open water since they cant go well in shallows.

raptor to weak can only take on small dinos, carno and rex run out of stam kinda fast so ur best bet is a good lvl (50+) wolf or sabor they have the speed health and dmn to take on big dinos with little to no problems you can tame one ez with a argen and a taming pen

i would say Ptera is one of the best flying "meathunters". ok, the weight could be a problem, if you want to get a huge amount of meat. But with a good skilled Ptera and the special attack "c" - i one or two-hit an lower level Rex or bigger Dino...

Jep. Though I only use the barrel roll c attack against larger groups of enemies, because you can't use it so often. It is more of a hit and run kind of attack, which of course helps it defeat larger dinos or low level alpha raptors - you don't really get hit that often. It takes ages though. Which is why I prefer the normal attack, and also bring additional flyers to help with dealing damage. A Ptera is also not that hard to tame kibble wise, though since the nerf to damage against flyers they are a lot harder to knock out since you need multiple shots and they flee.

Spinos are awesome in rivers and are the easiest tame of the big ones. My spino was my primary meat-getter until I got a 120 kibbled Quetz and put 48 clicks into melee damage :)

on PVE for me its 1, gigga 2, spino 3, rex, 4, raptor, ya personally i skipped carno went to rex with meat tame (long time ago) like spino over rex cause it gets around far easier does not get stuck on a pebble and can kill sharks at the bottom of the sea!! and ya top of coarse is gigga even a low level gets alot of meat per-kill
