ALPHA EGGS
So i had this idea earlier today and i wanted to know what you guys think of it... Basically it is that wild alpha dinosaurs (Raptors, carnos, and rex's) have the ability to lay eggs. An alpha egg would be EXTREAMLY rare to find... but well worth the search.
An alpha egg kibble would fully tame any dinosaur, or atleast do a certain percentage... comparable to the box o' chocolates from the valentines day event.
Let me know what you guys think!

Issue is you box it and wait, could even lead them into your base and wait. While it is good on paper, I forsee misuse and potential OPing on top of OP.

Or you could incubate it to get a normal raptor but it would have alpha colors. That would be cool ;D

I like the idea of these alpha eggs. Would make ground dinos like the raptor and saber have another role as "search/scouts" . I do however belive there is a solution to the fear of ppl trapping a alpha to farm op kibble eggs. Just make the egg spawn randomly whenever a alpha spawns. So the alpha don't actually laid the egg. There would only be a chance of egg per alpha spawn. Thus no alpha egg farms:)

Yes!!! That is a really good idea! I would say that the eggs are less likely to spawn than the actual alpha is tho... that much of reduced time on a tame really is a game changer... so maybe around the same chance that there is a say i giga to spawn, or even an alpha rex which is way more rare than an alpha raptor or carno. But that does open up more opportunities for land-based mounts and outrules the farming idea.

Alphas do, in fact, lay eggs. Well, I'm fairly certain they do, unless what happened was a bug; I found a Rex egg on the same beach as a female Alpha, and not quite believing it, I checked its "origin". Sure enough, it was hers. They're normal eggs of the Alpha's species, though. I'd love to see some special thing added to an Alpha egg, that'd be interesting! :>

Perhaps instead of making a specific kibble that works with any dino, why not make it just make many kibbles that a normal egg would produce one of? Ex: alpha rex egg make 20 rex egg kibbles. Seems more balanced than a one hit wonder. I understand that would severely limit the uses to only specific creatures since that would only work for 3 different dinos, but as more alphas are created, that would make more alpha eggs.

Alpha eggs could be used to be cooked into dyes to create FX or unavailable colors :)

I'm good with this. Add a sparkle to our day. +1
