Transfer dino ownership in singleplayer?

I was playing with a friend and i wanted him to play with his own character in my singleplayer world. however, i didnt realize that creating a new character on the same ark would result me not being able to claim my old dinos. in short, i made a new character and because he didnt tame the dinos, i cant use them. is there a way to transfer ownership of my base and all my dinos the the new singleplayer character?

Since you are the admin on singleplayer, look at the GiveAllStructure and GiveToMe commands listed here:
http://ark.gamepedia.com/Console_Commands

Those should let you reclaim on your new character.

perhaps i should mention that my issue is on xbox. is xbox the issue?

Console commands are coming to Xbox, so until then I don't think there is a lot you can do.
