Beavers hard to find

Please no dirty jokes... My server told me enough...


So I live in the deep south on the map. Sunny, ocean, and the worse we get is spinos.

I looked on the wiki to see that they apparently spawn A LOT in my area, but I have yet to see ONE. Actually several tribes were looking for one, and as far as I know they didn't find one.

So I was wondering if anyone else has a this problem. I haven't found ONE. Anyone have specific cords that they found one at? Like 50,50 or 32,68, etc. (those are random)

I don't have exact coordinates, but I found them at the river junction east of the area marked here as "the maw":

56,28 - Inlet in the river with the big rock in the middle

83,57 - Where the river widens to split around a small island

48,62 - Junction where 2 rivers and the swamp meet

42,66 - On the waterfall and in the canyon below a little ways both north and south

There are almost always 2-3 beavers at each of these locations on my server. Occasionally along the southern rivers at 40 and 50 longitude.

I've been finding at least two or three in smugglers pass and hidden lake as well. Just not many places they seem to be spawning. Haven't found any around the snow biome rivers either.

Are their cords for the hidden lake?

They like to be IN the water. I never see many hanging out on the banks.

I don't know about the rest of you, which seems to me you're all having some strokes of luck, but I've been searching for a beaver ever since I got on. And after 3 hours and 30 minutes, I officially just gave up.
