Can you pick it up with a quetz and bite to get wood like the mammoth?

Just tame low level gallis. If you want kibble, it's always better to tame low levels. Quick and cheap.
Yeah, that's what I would do too.

People need to stop complaining about needing quetz kibble to kibble tame dimetrodons. you can tame them just fine with raw meat without any problem, and there is absolutely NO BENEFIT to having higher level dimetrodons. even a level 500 Dimetrodon is still a very poor dino for anything other than primitive AC for hatcherys and eggs.

Though they definately need an egg laying boost, the current rate and what it takes to make them lay is absurd.

Cant wait to tame a giant beaver now, already got tons of Galli eggs.

PS: it is easier to raise a Dimetrodons torpor with a club while they are unconcious than it is to spams ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of narcotics.

So to make this clear: A beaver with rider can attack while beeing carried by a Quetzal? Same as Ankylos? And please, say if you have actually tried this?

sure,

and argentavis work great whit castoride for ppl whitout quetzal :crow: ;)

Hm... does that also work if the castoride is on wandering, without a rider? That argents work too is nice...

Yes, yes you can, solo even, and with an argent as well. I was flying around with my beaver and my quetz yesterday and it will harvest trees as you fly by all by its self.

And I was looking for a little wood-gatherer that helps new players build their first wood base. I fear the moment you've got the kibble to tame one, you won't need these amounts of wood any more.

Yeah, the kibble progression seems a little off to me. However, you can tame them with fairly good efficiency if you use veggies an, technically, you could do it with mejos so it's not too big of a deal. It would definately be worth it to tame one with veggies as soon as the saddle becomes available at lvl 55 even if you don't have the kibble yet.

When it is carrying wood, a lvl 1 beaver can carry more than most mammoths, and they gather more than even high melee mammoths, too. Plus, if it is being carried by a quetzal, it transfers the 1/5 wood weight to the quetzal. So, a quetzal with 2000 weight can carry a beaver with 10,000 wood.

It's funny because this completely contradicts the dossier. (As does the mechanics of several other creatures). I wonder if they are going to go back and change the dossiers at some point to more accurately portray the in-game creatures (or vice versa).

It will collect wood on it's own? How does that work?

For now, the mammoth is pointless aside from having a lower level saddle.

People are complaining about the galli kibble and dime but me in the mean time I've berry tamed 8 low level gallis and have a bunch of eggs and 4 high level beavers, i already had 4 gallis from before berry tamed... think smarter not harder.

justs a simple question: why the f u want tame galli with kibble?? just garb with quetz a low lvl4-8 to ur base and start autohotkey macro to spam narco in every 14sec, and after 1 hours u have a egg producer at cost of few hundered mejobery...
